Have a 2006 Columbia. Had a mouse get in the fuse panel on passenger side. Guessing it pissed on the connection circled in picture and in turn shorted out and melted the bottom right hand side 3 or 4 terminals in this plug leading to no gauges with the exception of air pressures nothing else. Any suggestions on fixing this or do I need a new panel and plug end? What is this plug called?thanks in advance

You are going to need a new fuse block. The block could be repaired if you wanted to solder new pins(no need) just install a new block & back in the race.

How hard is it to install a new block? I haven’t pulled it out yet to see what’s all involved? And the plug end itself with all the wires is shot as well. Could I cut and splice all the wires to a new connector?

If the plug is shot that is also going to have to be replaced. You are going to have to disconnect all the wiring & reconnect to the new block(time consuming). I don't find it difficult but it depends on your skills. No you wouldn't splice them you would install the wiring to the new plug.

Just make sure you number everything to make it easier. I do the plug end and where it plugs into that way there is no chance of confusion. Did my entire dash board this way and had no issue.

i found a fuse block and got it put in in today with everything wired up. Now im having an issue where the gauges come on with the ignition off. i can start the truck but can not turn it off via the key. also no hvac controls. evertyting else seems to work lights/whipers ect. Tried another ignition switch same result. Maybe the box in the B pillar? I havnt checked that yet

Still no luck everything in the b pillar box looks good. Added fuses to the black spots as my tuck only had fuses for the abs. My original fuse block was PN; A06-48433-000. The dealer says the updated part is A06-40943-000 witch i found one out of another truck with a sleeper. my truck is a day cab. there is no ign relay on the new block itself or the 5 amp fuse for the hvac. my wuestion is are they even compatable? there is a hvac fuse and ign fuse in the bpillar box im thinking im missing some wires if the new pcm is supposed to communicate with the b pillar box?
