This afternoon I went to leave with my recently purchased volvo 670 and a warning came up on the dash to check ecu. Then I noticed the speedo inop and 1500rpm max. I checked on board diagnostics and there is a speed communications problem.
Earlier today I installed a power inverter. Could I have damaged the computer or can a speed sensor go bad while sitting in the yard? Is there a way to test the speed sensor?
Any advice?
