Hi folks, having an issue and it's getting to me. Over the winter the drivers window motor burnt out, $500 later it's replaced. Went to start the truck up and it's dead. Jumped it and started, widow doesn't work. Came in the next day dead did the same thing. This time I'm scratching my head. Well long story short changed out the batteries and the alternator still not fixed. Same thing keeps happening. Took the door apart and the window motor is hot as hell!! So I unplugged it and ran the truck no more problems with start ups. It seems the window was continuously hot which was drawing the power. I'm trying to see if anybody else had the same problem don't want to spend two more tomorrow mornin i'm trying to see if anybody else had the same problem, already $500 out the door with the other window motor and probably another $500 for a new one and whatever else is causing the problem. Any help please

Have you checked the switch to make sure it is working properly - on when it should be and off when it should be off?

Some of window motors that have one touch down switch on door, the window ele. motor has a switch built inside to turn off power when it reaches full up or down stroke, best to take motor back and get a good one if it hasnt been to long?

why would you pay $500 for new motor ??? You can buy one for $40-50.. on ebay
I installed on my 2009 T-800 few years ago direct fit , the only thing what you have to change is the wire plug.....
