My truck is a motorhome and I would like to know if and how the engine brake engagement could be setup/ programmed to only engage once the brake pedal is pushed? I had this setup on my old motorhome and it was nice when just decelerating and not have the engine brake come on and it downshift.

PS it has a 12 speed Meritor autoshift transmission

    Thanks

You have to get it programmed by someone who has the program.
My d60 only use to engage in 6th gear and up
I got the ecm tunes now its on at all times from 2mph and up.
Not sure if freightliner could do it. But depending on the area you’re in there is tuners that will change that for you

That is a simple fix. Go to local Detroit dealer and bring $150
