Head gasket? May be leaking into the cylinder and burning or seeping into the oil.

I have had excellent results from the local Stewart & Stevenson shop here in Albuquerque. I believe they're Detrot specialists - you're running a DD60 motor in that '07 FT:LR?

wen they rebuilt your engine, did they cut the counter bore in the block? if not the liner protrusion might be to low and the head gasket is leaking. a way to test is to get a empty soda bottle and tape it to the radiator support, and put the coolant overflow tube in the bottle and see if it collects coolant. or its a possibility that you may have leaking injector cups, and coolant is getting down in the combustion chamber and burning off. have you notices different color smoke, or the exhaust having a different smell?
