Takes fuel to make boost, if you've checked everything else, I'd be having them hook up the pressure gauge to see how much fuel is moving through the system, may be clogged up.

it looks like it's not getting any better,
I made a decision to have it towed back to Alberta, Canada.
where it will be parked in the field till they find a fix.
already too many new parts, and no progress.
I think I will also cancel the new volvo i have on order
a new heavy spec volvo with a cummings. still
I HAVE LOST ALL FAITH IN VOLVO!

Thats gonna be an expensive tow bill back to canada. However, if you cancel the Volvo, consider a new KW or Peterbilt. They are the best heavy spec trucks around. Finally, I wish you the best of luck.

but to make boost, you need air as well, have the intake system pressure tested, had same issue with a newly overhauled ISX (2004 model year) turns out when mechanic swapped the head, there was a plug on the underside right next to where the intake manifold mounts to the block that was missing and was blowing air out of it, are you blowing black smoke out of the stacks? if so you most likely have an air intake leak somewhere.. no cel but the ECM did detect high egt's and derated the fuel flow which may make you think you have a fuel problem..

thanks for the info all, will forward the reply to the shop, it will put them in active thinking, other than being a R & R,
about the tow bill, will see, i plan on putting the the truck on my trailer, and in the past i help some OO one in Houston,
he is willing to take it as far as he can, one other I help him started his company last year, with my trailers and some coins,
he haven't given me a reply yet. I could also do it like a tow-away to the border.

I had similar sympthoms 3 times with my D13 /2008 motor; problems; craks in intercooler rad,bad turbo acuator, bust presure sensor( i don't know if you have this in 2007 D16) ,for D13 this sensors are a pain, located on recicling smoke duct from EGR ,behind the EGR cooler, back to intake manifold, are getting cloged with ashes. I keep 2 spare in my truck and replace myself, also the diferential pressure sensor.
