2007 Volvo Vnl 670 Cummins ISX turbo issues

    Hey guys I have a 2007 Volvo Vnl 670 with an Cummins Isx engine I have to warm the truck up fully then shut it off and fire it back up for the turbo to spool. Is this the turbo wastegate actuator or it could it be something else?

    Turbos didn't last long on isx motors of that time frame. If you have someone in your area that rebuilds Turbos. It be cheaper then installing a reman.

    2 companies I worked for always had spares.

    A shop can run diagnostics on the turbo. A bad sensor might also be the problem. I had one instance where the delta sensor went bad. Stopped the turbo from operating. I had to limp 150 miles to civilization. Rush truck centers diagnosed and replaced the sensor.
