    Sounds like you need to keep doing research. Before you buy a Volvo you want to know lots and lots of places that can fix it, and certainly where every Volvo dealer is. Get the Trucker Path app and you can add truck shops and Volvo dealers to your map. It's comforting.

    I'm no expert but i'd say this. if you only have the money for the truck then don't buy it. I'd have $20k or access to $20k set aside before I bought that truck.

    It looks good though.

    right now i have 15k aside for the truck and the other 14K to buy the truck.

    I would go threw the computer diagnosis. Check for codes.

    Your trying to figure out why the old owner wants to get rid of the truck.

    Also make sure when the fan is in freewheel mode that it isn't rattling. ( bad fan clutch).

    Check the overall condition of the wiring on the truck and check different components. Starter, Alternator, egr cooler valves. If they look older they might be on there way out.
