2008 freightliner Columbia detriot 60 series heat up problem

    I saw that in a Freightshaker about 20 years ago. It had a water cut off valve by the sleeper heater core. The valve was controlled by air and leaking into the cooling system.

    I went to a work shop and they said its might be injector cup leaking just toknow is it possible because i dont have any fuel in coolant and its gona cost me arount 2000$ labour and parts just need any advise is it worth for this problem or no

    I had a lot of fuel in my coolant when my injector cup seals went on my DD16.
    No fuel went in my oil. Although it can go either way.

    I think that they mean an injector is leaking combustion gases past the orings where they seal in the cup. It's a possible cause.....
