2008 -vnl 780 cruise control

Cruise control is the VECU software function. Sk first of all check all the conditions of c/c, like pedal switches, steering column switch, VSS.

Usually if you ride on bad roads clutch spring goes weak and clutch switch is always on and c/c disables

 

I had that problem as well and the problem is probably with switches as mentioned before. A way of telling is to apply upward pressure with your toe on the brake pedal and then the clutch pedal while attempting to engage the CC. If it locks on, you know the pedal switch is the problem. You have to hold the pressure on the pedal while trying this. If that works then get a small bungee cord (black) and hook that up so it pulls the pedal up. This will work until you can get it to a shop.

 

I have similar problem.. cant engage cruise while driving, works fine when in park thought..

what can be wrong?? both clutch and brake pedal switches are OK.
