2009 International Prostar is not starting

    Hello, I have a problem with my truck(Prostar 2009 Cummins ISX) it doesn't want to start, I can hear the starter is spinning but it doesn't engage, I've tried knocking the starter but it didn't help. I've borrowed a laptop with DLB from my friend, here are the faults I'm getting. I'm not sure if any of this might cause the truck not to start or this is just a bad starter ( see attached images for faults), your help will be appreciated, thanks. diagnose4.jpg

    I would say it is likely the starter. Normally the solenoid on top serves 2 functions: 1st is to push the starter pinion into mesh with the flywheel. 2nd is to close the contacts so power can flow through and spin the starter. If the starter just spins without engaging I'd be checking the starter to see if its toast.
