laughing....how do i find out what a truck route is....from speaking with the owner of this company in person (due to not having any experience, and wanting to pick my brain to see what i was made of) it is already understood i will be on a pre-determined route.but im still wanting to learn the ins and outs of the business. by the way.....is there a place on this site to ask moderators questions?

If it's questions to do with the industry, your best bet is open forum. The mods wander all over the place on here anyway.

Grape ape......isnt there some kind of rule against name callin?
Lilbit Thanks this. -
Cant remember the name of the city now, but, here it goes. Last august had to P/U in Jersey. Got to the shipper from 95, no problem. Loaded, looked at the map to go towards PA. Started driving, and there is a sign...Low bridge, 13'6" 2 miles ahead. No problem. Another sign, 1 mile ahead, than 1/2 mile ahead, and then...Low Bridge 1/4 mile ahead 12'8" clearance
Turns out that NJDOT repaved the road under the bridge, but never bothered to replace signs. So I had to backup about a mile, which was no big deal, except it was 4:30 PM....in New Jersey....fun, fun, fun -

Interesting is an understatement.....Was waiting for Tony Soprano to come out and shoot me....

Would be nice if there was a blog out there for new repaved road clearance heights from drivers that saw construction

But the atlas should pretty much cover the rest of it. if in doubt, dont go under it.
