Maybe someone has run into this before and can help me out. Sitting here at the company terminal, i decided to clean the inside of my truck....sweep and use cleaner on the dash.

Anyway, was wiping the face of the radio/CD player, and i must have hit the right combination of buttons, cause now the dang thing dont want to turn on, much like a keyguard or something. The fuses are in a compartment under my CB, i'm thinking of opening that up and inspecting the fuses to see if anything burned out. Or if someone has a solution to try.....i'd appreciate it.

I've looked in the owners manual for both the truck and the radio, and none of them offer any help.

man that sucks.... i would think that if it was a protection device (like a key guard) there would be something in the owners manual about it ..... i would guess it is a fuse, hopefully you didnt roach the radio in your new truck......

I forgot i put this post on here. haaha. i ended up fixing it. While looking for the owners manual for both the truck and the radio, i notice the 'info packet' that comes with the truck, also comes with some spare fuzes and a "radio removal aid". Two little 'handles' you poke thru a couple holes on both sides of the radio and it slides out. So i did that, found the power cable, unplugged it for 10 seconds, and plugged it back in...works like new. =) oh wait...it pretty much is new. :biggrin_2559::biggrin_25524:
