Anyone know what could be going on with my brakes. Got a 2010 337 Pete and the brakes keep backing off and I have to adjust them constantly. Any input will be appreciated.

That sounds like the pawls in your autoslacks are shot. When the mechanism that holds the slack in adjustment gets worn they will back off when you apply the brakes. Is it just on or two that are doing this?

Oh and DOT says that auto slacks are to be adjusted when installed and you are not supposed to touch them again. They are designed to adjust the clearance or stroke on their own. You will have to replace the bad ones.

The front ones are manual and they are the ones that are backing off.

That's why you have to adjust them. They're manual slacks not automatic. They should be adjusted at the beginning of the day when you do your pretrip inspection. Although on a 2010 they're illegal. Anything after 10/94 must have automatic slacks.
