I have a 2010 Internatioanl Prostar with a Maxxforce 13.0 L6, the truck has been parked for a good while and i am trying to turn it on but when I turn the key I just here a click in the fuse box and down in Silenoid Starter but the engine does not turn, ive tried to get the fault codes by holding CRUISE ON and CRUISE RESUME but I get nothing can anybody explain as to why I am having these problems?

There won't be a code for that. Your starter may just be seized up anlittle from sitting. Take a hammer and tap on the starter while someone tried to start it.

The starter relay is grounded through the engine ECU. If the ECU is not powering up the engine will not crank. Check the engine power harness fuses in the battery box and make sure the harness doesn't have a broken wire or corroded connection both power and ground.

    You are right.
I checked the wiring diagram and the relay does not ground through the ECU.
