Hi am new here. I have a local transfer business. Just traded my international 4400 33,000gvw for a new 2012 337 peterbilt 33,000 px8/300hp
putting on a 26foot box. I haul loads any where from 10,000-17,000lbs. What can I expect for mpg- performance?
It has 5.25 rear axle. Allison 3000 rds-p tranny.
    Any help would be appreciated!
Truck will not be ready till 10-22-12

We have seen anywhere between 7-11 MPG with this setup. Lots of variables, city/highway, driver style, traffic, etc. Performance will be excellent, the Allison gives you torque multiplication off the line so low end is very "snappy". I think you will be pleased...............

    Thanks SalesGuy.
I do have another question. Any problems with the DEF-Emissons-exhaust- tranny.
    Thanks again.

We have seen very little trouble with the DEF/SCR in the last year on the PX series engines. Allisions rarely have issues, you should have a rockin' machine!

Listed in the engine manual. Low ash 15-40. Semi or full synthetic is best.
