2012 Cascadia DD15 fault codes list

Can anyone help? 2014 DD15:

Fault1/eng1/spn2630/fail2

 

Charge air temperature fault. Have found a plugged air filter causing this a few times on Cascadias. Start with changing air filter. Then have laptop diagnosis by Tech if that does not work.

2012 Cascadia DD15

 

Have a 2012 Freightliner Cascadia with DD15 getting a ECU 1 5357 son fail 16 can someone please help with this?

 

Fuel quantity high.
May have to change the fuel quantity control valve.

Not saying to always ignore them, but I used to constantly be in the shop paying them to turn both my yellow CEL and malfunction lights off. But this last summer I just put black electrical tape over them and kept on trucking.
After a day or two they go out. I'm just so sick of dealing with this crap I just ignore it and haven't got shut down yet, LOL.

Seems like with these Detroits it is always either low DEF pressure, pressure differential in the DPF or NOX level out of spec.

DD15 diag 2 eng 0 son 111 fail 1
Check engine light and stop lights on

 

SPN 111 is the coolant level sensor.
Check to see if your coolant is low.
If it's okay, then just disconnect the sensor. You can still drive it then, the yellow check engine light will stay on. But the red will go out and you'll be able to go.
