If there hasn't been enough problems with this poor kw already, here's a new one...
Now the truck is dying while driving. The dash lights up red stating circuit failure, immediate service required and shuts the truck off! Happened once in the freeway, pulled into a ta, had clogged fuel filters replaced and she ran another 1000 miles, no issues, no faults found. Well just picked up another load and pulling out of the shipper, bam, shuts down, same circuit failure message. After 10 mins she starts up and we head to the ta in denver a mile away. Cannot continue to chance this problem again. Has anyone experience this problem before or have any knowledge of said issues? Again, it's a T660 Studio Sleeper, 2012 with the cummins isx400, eaton fuller 8 speed. These new computer systems drive me nuts and I'm at a loss of where to start looking lol. Thanks for any input guys

I have 3 2012 T660's , 2 of them are GEMS the 3rd a NIGHTMARE from day 1.
The Challenger Thanks this. -
This truck had been that nightmare truck... egrs, filters, def problems, fuel rails, power steering pump, turbo, ac probs, sensor failure, fuel filters clog in 10k miles or less... should I keep going? Lol. Well it's not my problem I left it at mhc kenworth in denver. Hopefully they can get us rolling soon. Till then it's off to the hotel to drink this bad morning away haha.

We had a kw that would just die any time it wanted, (just as if you shut of the key). Sent it to the dealership twice and cat x3. They tried lots of things, but couldn't replicate the problem. I worked on it during the winter (2011), in my spare time. (truck was parked in the off season). Took apart, cleaned and inspected EVERY electrical connection on or going to the engine. Hasn't acted up since, but I can't specify where the problem was. Sorry, not much help.

Well kenworth in denver did their jobs, found the main power wire going into the computer was arching and ready to catch fire! Apparently the wire coming loose is a common problem... oh joy. It's all fixed up now and ready to go.

Good Luck hope it all goes good.

I have a 2012 T660 that keeps having circuit failure 3 weeks now at dealer can't find the problem any ideas

This message will come up when communication from the cecu to chassis node is lost. Can be wiring issue or a damaged chassis node, the ones on the T800 hang like a mud flap and get hit with road debris so I have wrapped all ours with shielding.
