2012 Volvo D13 Block Heater location

    Hi everybody! Does anybody know where the exact location of the block heater is so i can replace mine. I've been trying to figure out. Called volvo they said it's on the right front corner of the engine and i still can't see it. A picture of it would be very nice. Thanks

    on top of coolant filter there is a manifold that goes up and down supposed to be mounted there behind the water pump, only going to be able to see the orange plug if it is equiped with block heater if not then need to intall one not all of them come factory with it.

    Thank you for the reply! It might not be equipped since my truck is not a high spec. Is it a big deal to install one, does it require a lot of work or pretty simple to do it myself?

    Very simple to do.

    Drain coolant and remove plate. Install heater element and refill the coolant.

    socal express forgot run plug and that's all super simple just make sure you buy one that fits your engine as they are engine specific.

    Thanks guy's! I'll give it a try. Volvo in Gary, In wants $83 for the heater and everything i need for it and that works for me :)
