air won't build up past 70 psi when idle and when driving won't build past 100 psi... Can hear air pissing out near engine but can't determine where... Any ideas where to look? Thanks in advance

Look by the firewall and check under your air dryer. Check while brakes are released holding thw brakes and not holding the brakes. Could be the compressor hose too. Get someone to help you for a quick minute. Try to get a spray bottle of water and you'll be able to feel leaking air without gloves on

Try and hook shop air to supply tank (avoid going higher than 130 psi), turn key on in truck but leave engine off. Lots of air to find the leak and no engine noise to drone it out.

Been looking all over and I can't not find the air dryer, been underneath, bulkhead sounds like a leak somewhere in engine but I can't see it or feel it

So you can't hear a leak? If not it maybe your governor.

Turns out it's the discharge line that had a hole in it, it's tucked away under trucks, mechanics working it right now

    Instinktz Thanks this.
