My Father/Mother in laws 2013 KW T800 DayCab ISX15 engine went through two Head Gaskets, within a short period of time @ 500k miles total on the engine.
Long story short the Liners were bouncing which Cracked the Block.
Blue O Ring liner bore diameter 152MM are supposably notorious for cracked blocks because of its softer composition.
Pink O Ring liners are 150MM in Diameter which is better than the blue o ring blocks.
But still are Junk, we were told.
So the hunt was on for a CAT C15 6NZ Engine.
I know Mawk & Kustom offers Retro Fit wiring harnesses.
But I am looking for someone with first hand experience in the swap and what it took to Convert the truck from a ISX15 to a CAT 6NZ.
Such as...
Removing the DEF media, SCR media(?) motor mounts, special fittings, Intercooler/Intake/exhaust piping, blocking certain lines, etc...
Any help/Knowledge in this Matter will be Highly Appreciated.
After the Conversion which will happen in a couple of weeks, I will do my best to state such steps in its process.
