2013 Maxxforce low power problem with engine light on.

    I have 2013 international maxforce. I have a low power problem and I have the engine light. Three days ago I delivered in Manitoba and it was very cold so I idled while I reset. It never before asked me to do parked regen so yesterday after idling for 36 hours it did. It went did regen ok and stop no problem. Last coming into SD all of sudden my boost pressure went all the down so I pulled over at an exit. I read the engine codes spn 102 fmi 4 and spn 27 and fmi 7. So I shut the truck off and started it back again. It run fine for about 10 miles but and again it did the same thing so I drove to a truck stop and parked it. In the morning I changed the engine intake manifold sensor. Now I dont have any codes. I ocassionally get spn 27 fmi 7 code and engine has no power. What do you guys think I have problem with. Could it be the Egr valve or the egr high temp cooler or the low temp cooler or the turbos. If It is those how much am I looking to spend on this truck. I can do labour myself. It has 850,000km on the engine. Other then that the truck runs fine. Thank you

    Most likely you have an egr valve going out on it. There are issues with the harness rubbing behind the engine and the connector pins fretting inside the connector body for the egr valve too.

    I have another problem the truck was running fine for about 800 miles after I put that sensor. Then coming into Ontario the truck have the same problem again with egr code but wouldn't go above 60 then the truck shut off. I went to look outside opened the hood and I see there is a fuel leak from the high pressure fuel pump. The leak is from the top and there is two steel line connected. The one that is leaking is the close to the front of the engine. Is that line burst or I will need to change the fuel pump. I am going to take it to international dealer tomorrow. Thanks

    I also checked the fuse the egr fuse is blown and I cant reset.

    The fuel is leaking from the threads. I tried to tighten but it is still leaking anyone have any idea what to do here.

    Please see the attached image dealer saying to change the whole fuel pump. But I found a guy in MI that sales that top part of the pump.

    Hi All,

    If anyone else have a high pressure leaking from the top where the line connects, the dealer will most likely tell you to change the whole at a cost of 7000. If you want to save a little you can just the top part do some research on the net you will find that top part of the pump.

    if its an egr cooler, good luck you're gonna spend around 7000 on it
