I’m having this issue now I’ve tried swapping out the sensor and the bcm and my gauges still go down to the 6 o’clock position. Any advice where to go from here?

FWIW still having thr issue. New sensor started reading high a week later. Changed it, worked for a week, then reading high.

    5v seems ok

From the body controller, the wiring does go through a big connector to the right of the cluster, then to the sensors.
5 volt supply at the body controller is connector J5, slot E4 wire A6 to the connector then B6. B6 splices three ways to supply 5 volts to the primary, secondary and brake application sensor, B6A, B6B and B6C.
Zero volt reference, or ground, is J5, slot E5, wire A9A to the connector, then B9. This does the same as the 5 volt and splits three ways to supply the same sensors with ground at B9E, B9F and B9H.
Signal for primary sensor is body controller J3, Slot B2 wire A40, then B40 at the sensor
Signal for secondary sensor is J3, B3, wire A40A, then B40A at the sensor

Check those end to end for continuity. Also need to make sure the pins are not spread too wide in any of the connectors either.

    QUALITYTRUCK and montrose818 Thank this.
