    But was it done right?

What you really need is a coolant system pressure tester.. pressurize the system to 15 PSI, then get down and boogie with a good flashlight. Don't just look at the engine, either... check the heater core for your bunk and the lines going to it, check the coolant lines to the SCR and DEF tank... the latter two are very easy to miss.

not necessarily, its only building pressure while you under a pull, try looking to see if you see dry or blown coolant on the frame rails or where ever the overflow tube travels

It doesn't have to be dripping on the ground, it could be leaking from in-between the Cylinder Head and the Engine Block and could be evaporating on the outside of the engine block from the heat of the engine and exhaust, so you will actually never see an actual leak on the ground. It doesn't actually ever have to overheat either since you are always replacing the lost coolant.

That was a month ago. What was so last month isn't necessarily so this month.

Ok I dont think you are leaking it otherwise you would smell it. There are only a few places that the coolant can go. In thevoil, out the stack ( head gasket- egr cooler) out the overflow. The problem is it is really hard d to diagnose a problem without seeing the truck. I know you replaced the egr cooler but it could be possible that the he doesn't gr cooler is defective

This may or may not help but it is worth checking. I have a 2013 D13 that recently a cold water leak that would dry up when the truck warmed up. I could only tell that it was coming from the front of the motor. After talking to a mechanic, he said the air compressor coolant pipe leaks at the clamp where it meets the block. Look behind the venturi pipe and you will see it facing about two o'cloc. The worm gear backs off a little on the clamp and leaks when cold. 1/2 a turn with two extensions and a 7 mm socket will cure the leak. Its easiest to reach from the passenger side, and apparently these trucks are notorious about leaking there. Food for thought.

I'm starting to really hate dealership service cashiers. Some or most are real #######. One recently told me that its ok that my compressor cycles every 2 minutes. After doing lots of research and realizing that 2 minutes is very very bad, i kept strangling that freightliner dealership cashier in my mind over and over again:) Freightliner mechanic told me that my fan clutch wasnt leaking air. Yeah right.... I clamped the air line just half an hour ago and my compressor went from 2 minute cycle to 10 minute cycle (at least somewhat reasonable) so i knew my fan clutch was leaking air like a mofo. Also after they replaced the fan clutch, I miraculously stopped leaking so much air. what a surprise... not.

In order to find coolant leak you have to pressure test you coolant with pressure test kit. If there no external leaks, drop the oil pan and see where coolant comes from.
