2013 Volvo VNL 780 ac blower motor

I pulled mine out today cause it wasn't working all of a sudden. Tapped with a ratchet and it would come on but wheels on the blower or the fans I should I say made a knocking noise as it rotated. I only find the following sticker. Anybody know where to find an aftermarket blower motor, or familiar with one? Just checking before I go "spread em" at a Volvo dealer.

Thank you for the info. I looked at these too. I'll just go buy the volvo one. Didn't really wanna but they don't wanna provide the part number they've got at volvo and at least if they do sell me the wrong one I can probably take it back the same day.

 

Yeah I watched a video of how to remove it, got the blower motor out just sitting there on the floor but have to take another part of the panel off to actually get to the electrical plug to unplug it from the harness its connected to. They definitely made it a pain to get to it all. I probably wont remember where all the bolts go back in when I get the new part tomorrow to put in from Volvo, but at least I will have it. Just hope it isn't the resistor is bad as well. The fan though having it out, wouldn't come on, tapped it with a ratchet then it did. When it is on makes this weird knock knock knock knock noise as its spinning. It's had some issues for a while though and I guess it just finally gave up.

 

Got the new one in. It still cuts out and back in set on 3 on the fan switch. Then stays on blowing strong so I guess maybe the resistor is going too. But no more knocking noise from the blower. Should've just replaced the resistor too, but at least now I'm familiar with pulling all the stuff a part when I need to again.
