2014 Cascadia clunking sound

It has nothing to do with the brakes, its the u bolts for the leaf springs.

 

Mine does it too, sort of creaks. Shop cant find a problem and I've just got used to it now.

 

Just have the shop torque all the u bolts on the front of the truck.

 

I got the same noise.....went to a Freightliner dealer and they told me the 5th Wheel needs to be greased ....of course it didn't do anything . A call to the maintenance department of my company didn't do anything either, they told me, the Shop couldn't figure anything out. Everything must be in good order....bla,bla,bla So, i figured out a fix my self. I will crank my stereo up and the noise is gone.

 

Thanks for the ubolt tip. My lead mechanic said no way they caused the groaning. I asked him to double check, sure enough, loose bolts.

 

Just had 1 of my drivers this morning tell the shop of this creaky groaning sound on his 2015 they retorqued the entire front end and he did a road test all good , scheduling all the other CASCADIAS ( along with all the WS and KWs ) for a front end retorque
