2 strong people can do a radiator. I’ve seen that done on a Volvo. A hoist is best. You don’t have to disconnect a/c lines, just set whole condenser aside. CAC will come off next. Fan shroud can be taken off, and hang on fan, If you can make one using wood, across a couple trailers, or a tree. Depending on your Truck, taking the cables/ springs off hood, supporting it with saw horses, and take the grill out. Slide it in, standing in front of it, and lifting with a hand crank boat pully. Cost $20 harbor freight. I got a whirlpool tub up through the floor to 2nd story that way.

Good info thanks! and lol a tub thro the floor to 2nd story sounds interestingly crazy! But hey you use what you got..if it works it works!Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Nice thanks for the info..do you have to replace the frame when putting in a new radiator?Rideandrepair Thanks this.
-
I hear you on that..but you use what you got and if it works it works..better than paying $$$$ for a shop for something so simple..when you can use your head and get it done youselfRideandrepair Thanks this.

I prefer the whole thing assembled. They do sell the core, with gaskets. If your side frames are still good. I’ve heard of problems over the years with leaking or improper fits. Doesn’t mean it will happen though. If yours is plastic, I think they have all metal frame upgrades. You’ll have to get some advice or reviews. Might be worth it to use your frames, it’s a lot cheaper. Maybe half the price. Don’t really know. Look around check prices. Maybe plastics better now. I don’t know.Batman13 Thanks this.
