    Hey everyone,

Have a 2014 KW with ISX 15 2350 and throwing codes 1209/2, 3936/15, and 5319/31 ... and this is after replacing and doing the following:

    New Differential Pressure Sensor
Was good for a few hundred mile so then ran a test on regen temps.
A new fuel doser (temp wasn't going high enough for regen)

Good for a 200 miles or so then errors again, so then
Pulled DOC/DPF - Had the DOC cleaned
DPF was marginal (flow test edge of ok/not ok) so had new core put in
New sensor assembly on DPF plus new tubes
    Cleaned EGR valve
    Other new sensors:
    Intake Manifold Air Temp
    Pressure sensor (drivers side inline)
    Delta-P
    Exhaust Back-Pressure

    Thanks,

    Rick

1209/2 is exhaust gas pressure sensor #4928594. Common issue. When you pull it will be clogged with soot. Use only Cummins o.e.m. sensor for this one or will cause other non related injector code faults. 5319/1 says that you are not completing regen. Usual culprit is bad DOC. It is a wearable item and must be replaced eventually. Usually around 4-500,000 miles. Incomplete regens will cause 3936/15. Need someone skilled to monitor temps. during regen with Insite or similar software.

Other than a Delta-P sensor, all were Cummins. Regarding the temps, it was monitoring the temps that lead us to the fuel doser. Temps are looking good. One thing we didn't do was a proper reset of the ash accumulator, so doing that now and will see what happens.

    Thanks,

    Rick

Also, plugged up SCR catalyst doesn't play well with DPF delta P readings and regens.

So the problem was a sensor, a "real" Cummins sensor from eBay. We put in a few sensors (only one from eBay) and truck ran good for a couple of hours, after that it went down hill pretty fast.

Purchased the one sensor on eBay because local didn't have it and it was the fastest. This was the second Cummins sensor I've purchased from eBay. Both were supposedly, supposedly Cummins, and in Cummins packaging. Looking at them side-by-side with the old ones there was no difference - branding, part numbers ... looked good.

Anyway, no more Cummins sensors from $@%#%!@#%!# eBay Sellers for me.

I have purchased lights, hoses, clamps, chains, etc. from eBay with no issues.
