    Normally out of these 2, I would go with the Mack. But I see it has the MP7 11 liter engine instead of the bigger 13. That may scare me away from it.

    The 1st Mack with the 450hp MP8 is the winner of the 3 choices for me. Best fuel mileage, strong motor & trans. Imo.

    Yes. It’s a good engine

    To be honest tho, it sounds like you need another year worth of question asking and research before buying a truck. It’s a big deal that can financially and emotionally destroy you.

    Mp8 is a Volvo D13 great engine besides the injector cup issues. Samething with Mdrive its just the Volvo I-shift

    I just bought a 2016 Mack CXU613 just the other day with an MP8 and an Mdrive.

    I'm really looking forward to driving it just as soon as Mack gets it all serviced up!

    I've only ever read bad things about MP7.

    I was talking with a former member from here on the phone not long ago. He swears by these new MP8 powered Macks. According to him they've given him the least trouble of any brand so far.
