    If you own 2014MY DD15 go to dealer and check your ESN. Don't delay. Your engine has time bomb inside and it is clicking. :-(

    I think i may have had my time bomb go off... #1 main bearing spun and spit out. I can't find much info on the campaign but I'm guessing its a seal issue and oil pump sucks air?

    any DD or Freightliner dealer will give you info if you ask at service department. I guess it is related to plastic cup on plastic manifold that pops out and engine lubrication stops suddenly.

    you were driving that truck when it happened? have you seen low oil pressure fault before happened? That fault can be still there in ECM sitting in history..

    @mhyn, how did Freightliner fix this? Is there a different part that's not made of plastic? Shop I'm at says they see this a lot but no solution other than drop a new engine.

    they have updated suction manifold. unfortunately its again made of plastic . The glue is different I guess )))))))))))
