2014 T680 AM/FM Antenna help

I have 2014 T680 daycab. This fall I replaced the factory stereo with a Jensen 1635bt so I could have bluetooth capabilities. The install went fine and all the connections on the factory harness plugged into the new head unit with the exception of a single blue wire. Now, I have terrible AM/FM reception. I've triple checked the antenna connection and it is fully connected. I've replaced numerous radios and never had this issue. What did I miss or do I just need to replace my AM/FM radio? Where is it located? There is a 6" black antenna in the middle of the cab roof between the orange lights. Is this it?

 

Evidently it is a powered antenna. I spliced an unlabeled blue wire on the truck to the blue 12v AMP wire on the radio and everything works now.
