I wired some auxiliary work lights on my 2015 389 Glider and they work with the switch that came with the relay. I planned to use the rocker switch that came with the relay, but the holes for my 4 spare switches are slightly larger than the rocker switch and I don’t want to put another hole unless I have to. My truck came with the extra switch package and all 4 of my spare switches are 6 blade like the one I posted. I have tried reversing the ground and positive on the Pete switch but had no success. The switch that works properly but is too small for the hole has the ground wired to 8&7, power from the key circuit 2&6, blue wire from the relay to 3.
Does anyone know if the 6 blade spare switch will work and how should they be wired? I called Pete for a diagram, but it was no help. Worst case I go to Peterbilt tomorrow and see if they have a 5 blade switch similar to the one I got with my relay. Thanks if you have a suggestion that works with the 6 blade switch I have. If I posted this in the wrong spot since I am not a mechanic, the Mods can possibly move it to the correct spot.![]()

Back on the old small window Petes like mine they all came with one spare switch. It had no power wires going to it. It was just there to be used if one of the other switches went bad.
I know this was of no help but maybe they were installed as dummys for the same reason. Just to swap with existing switches? -
SmallPackage Thanks this.
