Trying to remove the driver side headlight, there are 3 bolts/nuts, every nut i try to remove the bolt just turns with the nut. the shop wants to cut the nut&bolt but can a new bolt be installed?
long story short, my old truck crashed and i kept my custom headlights, i want them on the new truck but i would like to keep the stock ones for backup. so i dont want them cut if it makes the headlights useless.

They are studs, not bolts.
The nuts are probably rusted or seized onto the studs.
You can try to use a Dremel tool or small die grinder and grind the nuts off and then remove the studs and epoxy them back into the plastic headlight housing. -
I just want to keep them as backups for if / when my customs blow out -
