How does one go about removing the ignition switch from a 2015 Peterbilt 579? I can't see where a retainer clip or nut is on this switch and I need to swap it out for a new one. Any help is greatly appreciated

Remove the plastic panel with the switches from around the ignition switch with a plastic prytool.
Remove the retaining nut from the front of the switch, you will have to hold the switch from spinning from the back side.
Once the switch is out if the dash mount, simply unplug and plug into new the new one. Then reassemble.

The nut is the same as oil pressure sender socket, but you can get by with metric crescent wrench or channel locks.
