I hope they knew there isn't a O2 sensor on these trucks, they only use NoX sensors. Excessive NoX output could trip the engine to derate though.
Generally the NoX sensors should be changed every 500-600k(ish) as a maintenance item.

I got this sporadically, check the positive cables from the batteries to the circuit cut off switch. The post on back of the switch were loose. Would click or not start at times. Lost ecu maintenance required, but got stop engine fault...... still trouble shooting

The coolant could be low and when ur going uphill it adjussts cuz of the angle ur facing which makes the sensor think the coolant is lower than it actually is and the hp drops to protect the engine.

One thing I noticed on n my truck 2014 Volvo VNL780. The power shut off switch near the batteries. The nut in back of the switch, which is the power to the truck one gets loose. Try tighten the bolt. Should be the one towards the front of the truck. Also, my mechanic recommended removing it altogether, seems to give alot of problems. Do not over tighten cuz it can also crack. When I tightened the nut. It was starting up right away, no more clicking, or trying several times to start up

Also any codes you get on the message board, you can call Volvo directly and they will tell you exactly what the codes are for. No charge and direct problem solve

Any body has ideas how to fix this? It’s come back again. I fix it back in June. But it’s come back again today. I am very tired from this!

I had the "clicking" issue and other odd electrical issues with my 2015 around 500k until I replaced the master cutoff switch above the batteries.

    Socal Xpress Thanks this.
