2015 Volvo d13 overheating and build pressure in coolant system please advise what is the problem

    If cups are the problem it will push coolant from the drivers side but do a search on here about leaking cups.

    The cooler can do a visual inspection and look for carbon balls at exit of the cooler. Can also pressure test the cooler.

    The compressor..... drain the wet tank and place a clean rag (white one works best) see if the moisture comes out red like the coolant. I am sure there is a better way but this is pretty easy to do.

    my next step would be to look between radiator and charge air cooler probably plugged up with debris and bugs if you can wash it out should work do not use a pressure washer.

    It’s clean getting pressure even at 170, 180f temperature

    If there is pressure than possible air compressor or egr cooler.

    Do u have coolant loss. And can’t find out where it’s going.

    It’s getting pressure bubbling and pushing out from overflow
    I think it’s injector cups

    Check make sure it’s not air compressor before you replace cups not as big of problem as they were in older Volvo’s
