They run the engine s# and they told me that the truck history was blank, the guy never made a repair claim. I think thats weird. Any thoughts?

Then go with Harrison. I've heard good things about them.martin2722 Thanks this.

are there companies out there that won't let you lease on because you drive a glider?
-
Yes but those are the same companies you wouldn't want to lease to anyway.Oldironfan, RERM and ChicagoJohn Thank this.

There are a few, but I wouldn't lease on to them if I had to. Although, I did have big orange suggest I could on the tanker division, but I'd stop driving trucks before that happened. I'm not hauling cheap freight, especially cheap tanker freight.Oldironfan Thanks this.

Yes on the GY (although they are likely Marathon and only 24/32) but no on the Chinese Steer even if you have to pay for an upgrade. Locally I can get Kelly LHS (Supposed to be based on old GY G395 FM) for $347, Yokohama RY617 $380 or Continental HS3 Eco $400 so it's likely only $200-300 more. I don't know anyone that's had any luck with Chinese Steers. The Roadmaster Trailer Tires are good but no luck with the Steers.martin2722 and daf105paccar Thank this.

Put a brandname on those steers.Oldironfan, RERM and martin2722 Thank this. -
