Good thing you are not in my group of attorney's, or a paralegal for that matter, you'd lose your clients' suit every time by the obvious lack of research and knowledge of law and contracts. I'm not acting like anything, only addressing the obvious you fail address. The issue DOES go back a decade, the NHTSA confirmed it, just a slight difference in problem, but surrounding the two-piece steering shaft. Please do your research sir.
One would think you are a Volvo rep with your rhetoric about how they are busting their ###, because no affected owner of a Volvo with this issue would defend a company's neglectful manufacturing.

So what you are saying is, research on OLD, PRIOR recalls is reason to not buy NEW equipment? Boy, I guess Peterbilt, KW, and Freightliner would be out of business by now following that logic.
The warranty does state that I received the equiptment "free and clear of any defect". The fact I didn't, is a direct breech. The warranty also does not address "recalls", or the remedy. Based off the latter, they are required to fix it, as they are.
Your argument is mute. Your logic is illogical. And your rhetoric is ignorant. -
Actually no, they are a lawfirm advised to me by my private attorney. I don't fall for those conglomerate firms, I wanted someone that was actually going to put serious thought into the suit, not just throw any old thing against the wall to see what stuck. -

I'm now really curious, what the hell kinda Volvo did you pay $179,000 for? Ouch, did it come with lube?

I'm sorry to hear you were stuck in El Paso for a week. I too was stuck in Houston, with my younger son. It cost me dearly to get home to Florida, but no where near what I lost in revenue, which I realize I may never recover. But to sit on my hands and not try is exactly what they want. They have offered me no assistance whatsoever. They were rude and unmoved. Yeah, they towed my truck 3 miles to the nearest service center. Great. But guess who has to pay to go back there and fetch it?
So excuse me if I'm not a sympathetic to Volvo's needs. They certainly weren't sympathetic to mine.
