Good thing you are not in my group of attorney's, or a paralegal for that matter, you'd lose your clients' suit every time by the obvious lack of research and knowledge of law and contracts. I'm not acting like anything, only addressing the obvious you fail address. The issue DOES go back a decade, the NHTSA confirmed it, just a slight difference in problem, but surrounding the two-piece steering shaft. Please do your research sir.

One would think you are a Volvo rep with your rhetoric about how they are busting their ###, because no affected owner of a Volvo with this issue would defend a company's neglectful manufacturing.

I get it....you failed in real estate...so now you are trying to find some "get rich quick" scheme! If you had any "common sense" or sense at all...you would have done some research about prior issues or recalls with the (any) product you would want to own. But you didn't, now you won"t! WARRANTEED items? Yes...under the terms of your warranty...I do believe Volvo is honoring those claims of warranty work. Does your purchase agreement, or lease agreement (whichever the case may be) give any buyer recourse for business loss or "down time" due to mechanical failure? I doubt it!

As to the spelling error.....that's the only WIN you will get in this debate!

Does that "group of attorney's" (wrong punctuation for the plural BTW) advertise on billboards or on late night TV? Always seeking out class action suits for everything under the sun including the famous saying..."injured by a big truck(?), call us at 1-800-wha-whaa!

So naive. I sold my brokerage, not because it failed idiot. But because I was bored of it. Not that I have to explain that to you. Said money went to buy my first trucks. My success allowed for that.

So what you are saying is, research on OLD, PRIOR recalls is reason to not buy NEW equipment? Boy, I guess Peterbilt, KW, and Freightliner would be out of business by now following that logic.

The warranty does state that I received the equiptment "free and clear of any defect". The fact I didn't, is a direct breech. The warranty also does not address "recalls", or the remedy. Based off the latter, they are required to fix it, as they are.

Your argument is mute. Your logic is illogical. And your rhetoric is ignorant.

Actually no, they are a lawfirm advised to me by my private attorney. I don't fall for those conglomerate firms, I wanted someone that was actually going to put serious thought into the suit, not just throw any old thing against the wall to see what stuck.

What is your beef anyway? What does it mean to you? Are you affected by it? Are you being sued? I have a right to do as I see fit to recover my damages. The court will decide the verdict, not the court of public opinion. If it doesn't affect you directly, might I suggest you find something better to do with your time?

I was stuck in El Paso for 1 week because of the recall....anything else? Class action suits make no sense except to attorneys. Your individual settlement will not net you any profit. If you feel your claim is justified...file a personal suit and run on your merits of the case.

I'm not looking for riches, or to get rich quick. I am under no false pretenses that I am going to reap any major benefits from it. But that does not constitute a reason to not fight for what is right.

I'm sorry to hear you were stuck in El Paso for a week. I too was stuck in Houston, with my younger son. It cost me dearly to get home to Florida, but no where near what I lost in revenue, which I realize I may never recover. But to sit on my hands and not try is exactly what they want. They have offered me no assistance whatsoever. They were rude and unmoved. Yeah, they towed my truck 3 miles to the nearest service center. Great. But guess who has to pay to go back there and fetch it?

So excuse me if I'm not a sympathetic to Volvo's needs. They certainly weren't sympathetic to mine.
