2016 Volvo with electronically controlled air dryer and governor. Piece of crap!

Did you get it figured out or burn it to the ground? Enquiring minds want to know…

 

I have a simple solution for you. Works like there is no tomorrow.
1.- Add an air governor. ($25).
2.-Replace your electronically controlled air dryer with a basic mechanical one. ( $200).
Ignore the " Air dryer malfunction" message on the dash.
Had this issue for a year, till my air compressor burned from overworking. It was purging every 15 seconds, Eventually, it got overheated and burned all the valves and gaskets inside. Believe me, you don't want that, its a nightmare.

Has there been any updates on this? My 2017 has the same issue and it's causing plenty issues. I know they released an ecu update to fix the air volume expelled
