I have a 2016 western star 4900 dd16 and about a week ago the cam position sensor screwed up on it and since then I've have low boost and truck feels lazy.. had a new sensor put in, codes checked and even a brand new engine harness no lights on the dash and nothing showing when they plug into it... before all that when I was loaded and pulling the truck made 32-38psi or so and now it won't even make 30psi just kind of hovers around 25-27psi... anyone have a problem like this? I'm at a loss here.. truck runs smooth also with no skipping or missing

Simple things first. Check the air filter. Have the intake piping etc. starting at the turbo pressure or smoke tested. Any leaks can cause low boost.
    Here is one thread.
I have a Detroit dd15 with low boost, no codes. (justanswer.com)
Also have to wonder what brand of cam sensor was used. Aftermarket parts, especially with engine/emissions sensors can cause problems.

The sensor was replaced with oem one also I'm getting it taking in to check/adjust valves and pressure test the air to air the emissions side of things is not a problem for certain reasons... only about 80,000kms on a brand new turbo just was pulling hard and making lots of boost right until the cam sensor went bad just seems like good timing with that going
