Hi everyone. First time I believe actually asking something on here so here it is.
I currently drive a 2013 KW T700. Standard isx15, 10spd, previous fleet truck. Best mpg I've obtained is 7.0 with just shy of 3k from El paso, TX to ft. Valley, GA. Usually average low 6. We pull '53 dry van. Average 42.5k loads. Usually below I-40, running 70-75mph.
We are wanting to stay Peterbilt, or Kenworth. I prefer a flat nose but depending on the responses I get we'll see if I get that.
What I'm asking for is real life stats of mpg.

I would like to hear more specifically from skateboarders but anything is appreciated. It's a lot that I'm asking but I got a couple months before we commit. Thanks in advance.

If you're averaging low 6's and driving 70-75 mph, I think that's pretty good. Maybe try 62 and see what you get. I know that's not your question but that's pretty decent mileage at that speed.

That's good milage for that speed.
I have a '12 Cascadia / Van and that's about what I get. ISX 450.
5 MPH slower will give you an extra .5 mile to the gallon.
Your rear end ratio is a factor as well.Boghosian88 Thanks this. -
2007 w900 ,isx @550 hp,13 speed,336 rears,70-80k lbs,50k miles on rebuild and skateboard @ last quarter ifta was 7.04 mpg going 66mph

2018 International LT with A26 motor, 10spd direct, 6x2, run reefer 68k gross and higher, mainly East of The Mississippi, at 8.8 MPG so far. I was doing good until the past 5 days when I got into a lot of weather.
Price difference between this truck and a Glider was 8k. I'm glad I went with new. I've been very impressed with it.stuckinneutral and Boghosian88 Thank this.
