2017 x15 Fuel Filters During Service

Change out all 3 fuel filters during service or just the one that you can see through separator ? I’ve always done all 3 but I had to get a service done while on the road and they only did one and I told them I wanted them all changed and they said you don’t need to do that every service. They did as I asked but is that nonsense ??
