Can you take your truck and work for some one else? Or is it tied to them?

Well the total cost of ownership between a DT12 and a manual is actually better for the AMT.

No. I would get a fleet price on the truck but it would be ours. The o/o contract can be terminated by either party with 30 days notice. We haul explosives so would just sign on with another aa&e company if we see the grass is greener elsewhere. Ahhh The beauty of truck ownership.

Midnight, I would suggest you drive one with the drive train options you are going to have before ordering it. You shouldn't have an issue finding one to test drive to make the comparison.

I'm 6'2 350 pounds. It's big lounge. The bed comes down from the wall or you can go up stairs. I have been in a Volvo and Western Star. This truck is hands better than both them. It's not a shaker. The drive train is 100% match and owned in house. Detroit DD15 the best. Best of all you can get 1 million mile number to number warrenty. Go drive one don't judge by pictures.

The salesman at the Volvo dealership just got back to me with the price quote for a new Volvo 860 with an inverter, a fridge and a few other goodies and the price was $260,000. This seems extremely high to me. I was under the impression that new trucks went for about $160,000 unless you were ordering some super custom job with the Taj Mahal sleeper attached. I’m going to call the Freightliner dealership tomorrow and ask about the new Cascadia price and I’ll put that figure on here for anybody that is interested.

That must be the absolute full list price. I don’t know anyone that pays that. Now mind you this is a small fleet, our company owner just ordered six new Volvo’s, not sure what it’s called now use to be the 630 mid roof, for $165,000 each.
I few years ago I spec’d out a new Western Star, the prices listed in his book were extreme to say the least, but what he printed out off the computer were more inline.

    #### ### truck with 2 pedals and tiny driver lounge, that thing will never roll down any road good enough to be able to sleep in. I would have to get two of them. One to #### on and the other to cover it up with. If it’s company issued go with it.. if your buying it then don’t.. waste of money on trash truck
