Had a chance to review my closing year numbers today.

I started with my own authority in December 2015. So, essentially 3 years in. What I showed was an increase of not only more cash flow left in the account at the end of each year successively, but a decreased amount of revenue required to reach each yearly level.

My insurance truck/trailer/cargo & tags are paid forward for all of 2019. All my payroll & personal taxes for 2018 are paid up as well.

My maintenance account is in good shape too.

    I think that's all a good sign... ;-)

In addition, my liabilities have decreased on my equipment, strengthening my asset position. I am personally looking forward to another good year in 2019!

In case anyone is wondering, I run a dry van on the I-5 corridor WA/OR/CA.

No, I'm not getting filthy rich, but I'm a VERY content man doing EXACTLY what I like to do.

    Yeah that’s my main source.

No not really. I’ve only moved lumber probably half a dozen times.

    Scooter Jones Thanks this.

Well I use DAT and factoring. I used to have Power DAT but they wanted $300 a month and I didn't use it that much... I downgraded to truckers edge.. works just fine.. The only % I have coming out is factoring and I would recommend doing that if you already don't... You don't have to do it forever just long enough to get your cash flow going that is if you don't already have it..
