ok so I was just moving this truck around the yard and it was fine. I shut it down and now when I went to start it back up I cannot build air in my secondary tank. I hear no air leaks. The primary builds to 120psi and cuts out as it should but the secondary tank was stuck at 50psi.
I bled the system down and built pressure back up. Primary went to 120 and secondary now stays at 0. I'm thinking the problem is the dryer but it was working fine. Would it just go bad that quickly? Any ideas?

If you have a Bendix ADIS, it has primary and secondary feeds built right into the dryer itself. The check valve for the secondary feed is probably stuck shut. Try giving the dryer a few love taps with a hammer to see if frees up.

Thanks Heavyd! The "love taps" worked. I bled the system down again just to make sure it would work a second time. Looks like I'll be able to make it through the night. There was a lot of water when I drained the tanks.
Heavyd Thanks this. -
Hi Just a follow up on this. I know it's been awhile but it turned out to be the air governor on the compressor that was bad.
SAR Thanks this.
