How? I have several friends who swear by the Volvo and all have the same experiences. One has well over a million and other than regular maintenance no issues. I only sold mine due to a family issue that kept me at home for a year or I would still have it. I don't want a new truck payment so I bought a used glider.

I got lucky? And 4 friends got lucky? And the company I broker for got lucky? They have about 10 Volvo y70s 2014 I believe. They had 2010 and 11 Crapcadias and they have more 15 and 16 Crapcadias. The Volvo are far and away the trucks with the least problems. Some of the crapcadias almost live in the shop. Not lucky. Volvo by far has figured out the emission game better than ANY of the engine manufacturers.
    Haters will be haters.

Injector cup issue was solved after 10 or 11 from what I'm told by a dealer mechanic friend.
I'm not going to debate this, you hate Volvo, so be it. But I have owned one and they are the quietest most comfortable smoothest and as far as the interior on the 780 best laid out best cabinets etc etc.
    I've owned 5 trucks....
3 freightliners .... an old classic, an 11 CRAPCADIA, a 12 Columbia glider,
1 2007 Pete with a cat in it
    and the new 2013 Volvo.
    I've driven many many more.
    I have experience.
Sure I like the w900 and old classics, to look at and i like the way a long wheel base handles.....not a Pete fan.
The best truck I've driven, from a comfort quiet and daily live in it point of view is the Volvo. Hands down. I don't need a penile extension to make me feel good. This is a tool I need to make money and make me comfortable while I'm doing it. So when I get home I can enjoy my real toys.
I love the reliability, ease of maintenance, cheap cost of ownership and parts and labor for my Columbia glider. But it's nowhere as nice to drive, as a 780.
After a 13hr drive behind the wheel in a 780 you feel like you just started. Doesn't beat the crap out of you and your ears aren't ringing.

I own a Volvo, out of all the emission motors I have had the d13 has had the least amount of emission issues, volvo seemed to figure it out a little faster than the other manufacturers.. by no means am I king of the hill or a fanboy, just pointing out the facts.. plenty of d13 out there with a million miles without being tore down, how many other motors of today can be said the same thing?

With that being said, I would love to have a 579 or w9 with x15 lol I’m not brand loyal

No brand loyalty with me either. What ever works the best has the ROI and is comfortable has my vote. But before I'd buy a Cummins they would have to fix the exploding fuel pump issue. Deal breaker there for me.

One of the things I don't like about Volvo is they look like they are falling apart running down the road.
Also, why do 3 of 4 have front bumpers partly missing?

Mine looked like day 1 when I sold it 4 years in. Company drivers that don't give a #### and beat them up. They look like cap. This is mine the day I sold it.

How's the truck been? I have a question what's your oil pressure running? The pipe that connects to turbo going to the Dpf cracked from the weld was losing power cause of that and my oil pressure was dropping running at 36psi on the mountains I changed the pipe in California the pressure went up to normal usually 39 to 40psi driving. hitting the mountains again the pressure would drop to 35 36 psi just curious if this normal

It's almost time to do the service no issue not losing power or anything I just think oil pressure low I mean I'm use to detroit oil pressure at 52 and this truck is lower
