You may be in luck with the X15 117B, I havent seen anything about it other than the X15 116B is considered the performance version so the 117B I'd think would be the High Performance.......maybe?

Following. Hopefully pulling the trigger in the next couple weeks and ordering up an 18 388 pete with the 565/2050 x15. Really want the 605 but the $$$'s they want for 40hp just dont really justifie it right now.

It's probably nothing more than just a different calibration thats in the ECM too, lol. More than likely no difference in parts.

The fleet Im driving for has a pair x15 effieciency engines (fleet engine with 400hp 1550/1850 torque mated with 10 ultrashit small step drive 2.67 rear end), they been in shop so many times for derate. I drove em a few times, doesnt pull #### thanks to automatic 65 at 1200 rpm and slow throttle reaction when shifts down to 9th. Not tuned yet to 1850. The only pro I felt is strong jakes compare to assign isx15 (WARNING, do not use in auto mode when your jake is on)

Fuel mileage programed engines will never pull very well.

Where I drive in pennsylvania mountains dealing with 8% grades on route 322, then Climbing up on I-80. Fuel mileage wont play its factor, youll never end up having 8 mpg out of it (unless you go bobtail). I always end up having 5.9-6.8 mpg when loads around 38k lbs or less. If I were to buy a scr engine, would go with isx15 485+hp (post 2013) or go with x15 performance, 13/18 speed, if it proves to be reliable.

    joetrucker66 Thanks this.
