My uncle has a 2019 Paccar MX-13 that always seems to trip the same trouble code. I can get the exact code, but it's something like a def heater line circuit fault. He replaced the def heater line and it still comes on. His next move is to look at the harness. Any other ideas on what to check? Lol...My solution was that he should've bought a gilder to start with.

Likely the harness or computer probly both and a few sensors too. Those MX13 emissions systems are pure junk ask me how i know after throwing almost 100k at mine last year.

That's exactly what I've heard from others. A mechanic buddy of mine is a lead at KW and says the same. He said they start being money pits once they start messing up with one thing emissions related.

Yup the only fix that doesnt involve junking the truck is illegal too

On a 2015 kw 680 I drove it kept giving a def code after numerous trips to the dealer nothing ever lasted as a fix.. A roadside repair by a real mechanic solved issue .. the factory had pinched harness by a cab mount he patched it up but advised replacing harness ..

Your best connection. Have your uncle take the unit to your KW buddy.
The lead KW guy should be able locate the issue in short order.
If you can provide a chassis number and a fault code is the only way further progress can be made.spsauerland Thanks this. -
It's easier to complain and call it junk!Goodysnap Thanks this.
