I can't seem to find where the darn thing is supposed to hang when mounted in the lower center compartment above the drivers seat. That is where the antenna cable has been run from the factory despite a CB tray they've also made available on the dash.

My old Cascadia, there was a hole large enough to put the retractable hanger hook through.

    Think outside the box.
    Get creative.
If they didn't provide.. you have to improvise.

I was in a new model last year. Can’t remember but I must have found an overhead screw from which I could hang a GEARKEEPER.

The only real trick to a ceiling screw hanger install is to use a tie-off of some sort to keep the mike from oscillating & banging, but still allow retractable cord extension.

Use the D-ring SCREW CLIP under screw head provided for this purpose.

I also use Scotch 88 on the “hinges” to keep swing & sway minimized.

Do it right and you’ll look just like Ridgeline did the day he took the road test.

You clip it to your cap brim.

Do you have the mic holder that usually comes with the radio? If yes, secure it to side of radio with one of the cover screws, or buy the plastic one with double sided adhesive and find a convenient place to adhere it, better yet, remove adhesive and super glue it to a flat plastic area.

I think I found a screw hole I can use. Do you see the screw in front of that yellow light?
I don't yet have a radio; I sold my old one when I stopped driving years ago. But I will be getting one soon.

Just where is the stock antenna anyway? I've circled my truck several times and can't find one or where that coax leads to.

I think I found a screw hole I can use. Do you see the screw in front of that yellow light in-between the two push on/off some lights? Looks like a potential place I guess.

I asked my question because I thought maybe there was an obvious spot it was intended to go but somehow I was blind so see it. Guess not?

By the the way, just where is the stock antenna anyway? I've circled my truck several times and can't find one or where that coax leads to.
