    2022 Freightliner Cascadia

My truck is not logging the driving hours on ELD. Also odometer froze and the ambient temperature is showing.
Diagnostic link it showed different mileage then what is on dash about 2000 miles more because it stop working about 2000 miles ago. So guessing the speed sensor is working fine. Also it said the datalink failure j1939.
There was one wire near the ambient temperature sensor rubbing against the hood latch. I fixed that but reading on the ambient temperature on dash.
I have these codes on ELD fault codes
    Spn 523515 constant
    Spn639 intermittent
    Spn 520762 intermittent

anyone have any idea what should I look for.

I’m not sure if it will really help you, but I would try to disconnect power to the batteries for a few minutes and then reconnect. I’ve had similar issues in the past and that fix the problem.

LoneRanger, DUNE-T and OlegMel Thank this.

Hi thanks for the reply. I did that but same problem. I am thinking maybe it is the cpc4. I think that wire near ambient temperature sensor rubbing against the hood latch grounded the cpc.

Abs light is on and we changed the abs sensor on that axle. ABS light is still there.

Ambient temperature not displaying and odometer froze.

I am going towards the cpc is toast but I don’t know what else to look for.

    Hi

I found the problem and it was an old radio I had installed just before this headache. Somehow the radio is connected to cpc. Thank you for your reply

The “have you tried restarting it.” Troubleshooting instructions still come in handy.

I couldn’t believe radio is connected cpc and in turn to ecm. I had all kind of engine light plus truck was sometimes not starting.
